We diversify medicine
Our mission is to create a world where physicians are representative of the patients they serve. The admissions consulting industry leaves behind those who need it the most and perpetuates underrepresentation in medicine. Elevation Med Prep disrupts this pattern by making top-tier admissions consulting accessible to everyone—regardless of their ability to pay.
How we do it
We are a social enterprise. With every sale that we make, our 1-for-1 model sponsors one of our services for free to an applicant from an underrepresented, low-income, or disadvantaged background. Apply here.
Meet Mope
Behind our 1-for-1 model are individual stories. Mope is a daughter of immigrants from Nigeria, and her goal since childhood was to become a doctor. Throughout college, Mope worked as a waitress to supplement her education costs. She faced numerous socioeconomic barriers that many of her peers never had to. Paying for professional medical school admissions consulting simply wasn’t an option.
Through our 1-for-1 model, Mope received free medical school admissions consulting. Her Elevation Journey included mentorship from a medical student who had walked a similar path. Mope was recently accepted into her top-choice medical school!

Each of our team members are in the first generation in their families to go into medicine. Collectively, we have worked one-on-one with over 100 pre-medical students throughout the entire application process. Elevation Med Prep regularly delivers presentations on admissions to pre-medical groups across the nation, and our social media posts have reached over 1 million views. Brendan Adkinson (founder) grew up in rural Ohio where he attended a small undergraduate school before receiving acceptances to multiple Ivy League medical schools. His vision is fueled by the rural physician shortage.
